Short version: We collect zero personal data. Your images never leave your device. We don't use sign-ups, accounts, or tracking cookies.
RemoveWatermark.dev is a free, open-source web tool built and maintained by Abhin Krishna, a student developer from Kerala, India. The tool removes the visible ✨ sparkle watermark from images generated by Google Gemini AI using a browser-based Reverse Alpha Blending algorithm.
All image processing on this website is performed entirely within your browser using the HTML5 Canvas API and JavaScript. This means:
- Your images are never uploaded to any server.
- Your images are never stored anywhere outside your device.
- Your images are never shared with any third party.
- No image metadata (filename, EXIF data, dimensions) is transmitted anywhere.
Once you close or refresh the page, any processed data is immediately cleared from memory.
We do not use first-party tracking cookies, session cookies, or any analytics scripts (such as Google Analytics) that track individual users.
We use Umami Analytics, a privacy-focused, cookie-free analytics platform that collects only aggregate, anonymised page view data. No personal data or individual user tracking is involved.
Third-party advertising partners (see Section 4) may place cookies on your device to serve relevant ads. You can opt out of personalised advertising through your browser settings or via the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out page.
This website may display advertisements from Google AdSense. Google uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
Specifically, Google's use of the DoubleClick advertising cookie enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet. You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
